Keep one clue, then add another
Start with the most distinctive part of the title. If you remember the actor instead, search the actor's real name. Catflix checks the title, original title, available alternate names and cast records. It does not treat a plot description as an exact movie title.
Do not add every detail at once. A year remembered incorrectly can remove the right film. Try the name first, compare the results and add a format or genre only when the list needs narrowing.
A series is not its latest episode
Search the programme name, then open its seasons. You can also try a phrase such as Bad Monkey season 1; the results can match the series when that season is recorded. An individual episode nickname may not be indexed as a separate search title.
Use the filters that answer your question
Format separates films from series. Original language is useful for browsing productions but does not identify every dub. Release year refers to the title record, not the year you first watched it. Movie length applies to films, so it can remove series from the results.
